IMPRESSIONS
This new body of work is inspired by the way memories soften over time, leaving behind impressions of color, feeling and atmosphere. Working with raw muslin and cotton, I build thin washes of liquid acrylic that absorb into the surface, creating soft fields of color and subtle marks that feel almost suspended.
I’ve been especially drawn to warmer, brighter tones in this collection, softened in a way that keeps them quiet and understated. The colors seem to emerge and recede across the surface, creating a sense of lightness and atmosphere.
Each piece feels like an impression of something briefly held, a shift in light, a trace of color, a feeling that is present without being fully defined.
